APB mission Statement

Our mission is to develop cereal grain and forage genetics that deliver superior yield and quality traits for the producer as well as the end user. Our plant breeding efforts develop varieties that are ideal for production in Arizona, California and other western states of the USA. We work on a global basis with others to identify locations where APB genetics are well adapted. Our plant breeding and varietal development work focuses on durum wheat, spring wheat, triticale, oats, and barley.
